While commonly recognized as Canoe Procurement Group of Canada within Canada, Sourcewell provides the same cooperative purchasing framework across North America. This award represents a significant milestone in our continued commitment to deliver high-performance, Canadian-built fire apparatus to departments throughout Canada and the United States.
In addition to this achievement, FGFT is announcing a major expansion of our operational footprint. The company has signed a lease for the former Freightliner Trans Solutions facility on Lucas Avenue—adding approximately 30% more production and service space. This expansion will allow Fort Garry Fire Trucks to significantly increase manufacturing capacity, enhance service operations, and better support growing demand for our apparatus.
To support this growth, FGFT is investing more than $4,000,000 in new equipment and production enhancements, ensuring that we continue to build industry-leading fire apparatus with exceptional reliability, craftsmanship, and performance.
